DHAKA, July 15, 2025 (BSS) - Archbishop Kevin S. Randall, the Apostolic Nuncio (Ambassador of the Holy See), met Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus at the State Guest House Jamuna here on Tuesday.

During the meeting, Archbishop Randall extended an invitation to Professor Yunus for an inter-religious dialogue programme scheduled for September 6-12. 

The Archbishop emphasised the programme's dual approach, aiming for both academic and practical dialogue to reach a wide audience. 

He stated the core objective is to "promote the culture of tolerance, harmony and friendship."

Archbishop Randall also invited the Chief Adviser to visit Rome in September to attend an event at the Fratelli tutti foundation.

Chief Adviser Prof Yunus thanked the Archbishop for his invitations. 

"It's a big event. I wish you all the best." 

He also conveyed his well wishes to the new Pope.
