Aircraft crash victims’ bodies to be handed over immediately after identification

DHAKA, July 21, 2025 (BSS) - The bodies of the victims in the Bangladesh Air Force training aircraft crash on the Milestone School and College campus in the capital's Diabari area will be handed over to their families immediately after their identification, according to a statement of Chief Adviser’s Press Wing.  

The bodies of those who cannot be identified immediately will be identified through DNA testing and handed over to their families later.

Chief Adviser Professor Dr Muhammad Yunus is keeping a close eye on the treatment of the injured, said the statement.

The public is being specially requested not to crowd unnecessarily in the hospital area in the interest of providing uninterrupted medical treatment.
