CA urges US companies to invest more in Bangladesh

NEW YORK, Sept 24, 2025 (BSS) – Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus today called on the US companies to invest more in Bangladesh as he spoke at the US-Bangladesh Executive Business Roundtable, titled "Advancing Reform, Resilience and Growth" here.
 
The US-Bangladesh Business Council (USBBC) organised the event at a hotel in New York in the USA.
 
Prof Yunus today spoke at the US-Bangladesh business event where he urged top US companies, including MetLife, Chevron, and Excelerate Energy, to invest more in Bangladesh, Chief Adviser’s Press Secretary Shafiqul Alam told a press briefing here.  
 
He said six political leaders of Bangladesh, who are accompanying the chief adviser during his US tour, were present at the meeting and they were introduced with the US top businessmen.
