Postal ballot registration for election officials, govt employees until Dec 25

DHAKA, Dec 14, 2025 (BSS) - Government employees posted outside their own constituencies and employees engaged in election duties have been asked to complete their registration by December 25 to cast their votes through IT-supported postal ballots for the national election and the referendum.

The EC issued a circular in this regard today saying the registration will be done under In-Country Postal Voting (ICPV) system every day from 8am to 8pm until December 25. 

As per the circular, officials and employees engaged in election duties, government employees working outside their own constituencies, and voters in legal custody must complete registration on the "Postal Vote BD" app by December 25, 2025, in order to vote through ICPV system.

Military personnel engaged in election duties will also be able to complete registration to cast their postal votes in the 13th national election and referendum 2026.
