DHAKA, Feb 11, 2026 (BSS) – The government has launched a mobile app “Shubhechcha” to increase expatriate engagement in exploring opportunities in Bangladesh and a central online ticketing platform “Druto Ticket” to ensure access to citizen services, creating sustainable social and economic impact.

Special Assistant to the Chief Adviser for Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology Faiz Ahmad Taiyeb and ICT Division Secretary Shish Haider Chowdhury presented detailed briefings on the two digital services to Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus at the State Guest House Jamuna here on Tuesday evening.

According to the Chief Adviser’s Press Wing, through the “Shubhechcha” app, expatriate Bangladeshis will be able to access more than one hundred citizen services in a simplified way.

On the other hand, “Druto Ticket” has been launched to prevent irregularities and ensure transparency in bus, rail and air travel, including during festival periods as well as at other times.

Expressing appreciation for the successful launch of the two platforms, the Chief Adviser thanked those involved in the initiatives.

Prof Yunus said, “Our goal was to ensure that all government services reach citizens without suffering. Today the journey of these two platforms has begun. This is only the beginning. The two platforms must be expanded to a larger scale and reach more people”.

“I hope the next elected government will take these two initiatives forward,” he expressed the hope.
