DHAKA, March 10, 2024 (BSS) - Finance Minister Abul Hassan Mahmood Ali and State Minister for Finance Waseqa Ayesha Khan today expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of Prime Minister’s Press Secretary and former Managing Director and Chief Editor of Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha (BSS) Ihsanul Karim. 

In separate messages of condolence, both the Finance Minister and the State Minister for Finance expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of Ihsanul.

Meanwhile, State Minister for Commerce Ahsanul Islam Titu also expressed deep shock at the death of Ihsanul.

The Finance Minister, the State Minister for Finance and the State Minister for Commerce also prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family. 

 Ihsanul Karim breathed his last at the Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) Hospital at 8.00 pm today (Sunday), PM's Deputy Press Secretary MM Emrul Kayas told BSS.

 During his long checkered career, he also served as Press secretary of the President of Bangladesh.
