3-day int'l conf ended in Noida, India

DHAKA, April 3, 2024 (BSS) - A three-day international conference titled 'Perceptions and Innovations in Open and Distance Learning' organized by National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) and Commonwealth Educational Media Centre for Asia (CEMCA)was concluded in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India today.

It was started on April 1, a press release said.

In the plenary speech on the first day of the conference, Treasurer of Bangladesh Open University (BOU) Professor Mostafa Azad Kamal said that it is necessary to transform from traditional open education to capability-based smart open education.

He said that to maximize the benefits of globalization, reforms in education alone are not enough, but radical changes are necessary.
