DHAKA, June 3, 2024 (BSS) - Prime Minister's Private Industry and Investment Adviser Salman F Rahman today said conspirators are hatching conspiracies to thwart country's progress.

"Bangladesh is moving forward under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. But still many people are hatching conspiracies against the country. No matter how strong the conspirators are, if we all are united, we will take the country forward," he said.

Salman said this while speaking as the chief guest at a reception ceremony to honor Freedom Fighters of 1971, organised by the Dhaka Zila Parishad at Dhaka District Awami League office at Tejgaon area in the city, said a press release.
 
Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal attended the event as the special guest.

Kamal urged the freedom fighters to organise themselves for removing anti-state activities.

"We made the country free from enemies in 1971. The freedom fighters should organise themselves and stop the anti-independence activities. War criminals are a disgrace to independent Bangladesh. If this stigma cannot be removed, the next generation will have to pay the price," he added.
