DHAKA, Jun 3, 2024 (BSS) - Chief Information Commissioner Dr Abdul Malek today attended the inaugural session of The International Conference of Information Commissioners (ICIC) in Tirana, the capital of Albania, today.

Dr Abdul Malek, while representing of Bangladesh, delivered his speech as the discussant of the joint opening panel session on "Empowering Vulnerable Groups through Access to Information and Transparency" said a press release received here.

The panel included the Chief Information Commissioner of Sri Lanka, Ombudsman of Azerbaijan and Senior Advisor of the Carter Center in America.

Prime Minister of Albania Edi Rama formally inaugurated The International Conference of Information Commissioners (ICIC).

A total of 140 representatives from 80 countries attended the conference.
