DHAKA, June 17, 2024 (BSS) - As per annoucement of Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) Mayor Md Atiqul Islam, 100 percent wastes of sacrificial animals have been removed within six hours by 8pm today.

"With the cooperation of all, it has been possible to remove sacrificial animal wastes within six hours in Dhaka North City Corporation. We have been able to do that due to the cooperation of conscious citizens," said mayor Atiqul Islam.

He extended his thanks to the citizens and hoped that the citizens and the corporation will work together in the coming days too to keep the city clean.

He urged the citizens who could not slaughter sacrificial animals today to slaughter those by tomorrow morning.

Earlier, the DNCC mayor inaugurated the waste disposal activity at 2pm.
