DHAKA, Sept 20, 2024 (BSS) - Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) today arrested one of the death row convicts Firoz Mia who fled from Kashimpur High Security Central Jail in Gazipur on August 6 last, from Dhamrai of the district.

     "We detained Firoz, an death sentence awarded accused in the much talked about Shukur Ali murder case from Dhamrai of Dhaka district this morning," Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) legal and media wing director Lt Col Md Munim Ferdous told BSS today.

     He said the RAB are in hot pursuit to arrest the death row and life term awarded convicts who fled from various jails in recent attempts of prison break.
