DHAKA, Nov 16, 2024 (BSS)- Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Standing Committee Member Gayeshwar Chandra Roy has reiterated his call to the interim government to declare the national election roadmap quickly to restore people’s democratic right to vote.

“People are ready to exercise their voting rights. So, announce the date of polls without making any delay to meet the people’s aspirations,” he said.

Gayeshwar was addressing a workers’ meeting of the party’s at Zinzira Union in Keraniganj upazila here today.

Conspirators are still active, Gayeshwar said urging all to remain alert to foil the conspiracy.

BNP’s Dhaka District Unit General Secretary and Keraniganj Thana President Advocate Nipun Roy Chowdhury, Keraniganj Upazila BNP elderly leader and national executive committee member Nizam Uddin Master and South Keraniganj Thana BNP General Secretary Mozadded Ali Babu spoke on the occasion, among others.

Zinzira Union BNP President Hazi Mokarram Hossain Sajjad chaired the meeting which was moderated by its General Secretary Ashraf Hossain.
