DHAKA, Nov 26, 2024 (BSS)- Land Adviser AF Hassan Ariff today urged the government employees to devote themselves for the welfare of the common people.

The adviser made the call while addressing the inauguration ceremony of newly elected committee of Karmachari Parishad of Land Record and Survey Department (LRSD) at Bhumi Bhaban auditorium here.

Ariff said citizen-friendly land services must be ensured for all to take the new Bangladesh forward.

The Land Advisor said that survey work is being conducted from time to time to prepare maps based on ownership of land.

Ariff, also adviser to the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism, said the Land Ministry has taken the initiative of conducting land survey work using modern information technology.

Senior secretary of Land Ministry ASM Saleh Ahmed, LRSD DG Mohd Moniruzaman, former president of the Parishad Surutuzzaman and newly elected general secretary Md Sakhawat Hossain, among others, took part in the function with parishad president Md Mizanur Rahman in the chair.
