DHAKA, Nov 28, 2024 (BSS) – leaders of Amar Bangladesh (AB) Party today strongly condemned the recent brutal murder of lawyer Saiful Islam Alif in Chattogram and demanded justice for  the killing.

Convener Professor Dr Major (Retd) Abdul Wahab Minar and its Member Secretary Mujibur Rahman Manju in a joint statement said apart from the murder   AB party also protested the attempts which were carried out to create anarchy in various parts of the country for minor issue.

The party also criticized the role, taken by the Ministry of External Affairs, India in Banglades's internal affairs.

Although the Indian government issued a statement over rejection of bail petition of former ISKCON leader Chinmoy Krishna Das Brahmachari, they did not express any concern or condemnation about the brutal murder of the lawyer, AB Party leaders stated.

The leaders of AB Party said that despite hundreds of provocations, the tolerance and responsibility, shown by the students, public, scholars, people of all religions and political parties over the Chattogram incident will be another milestone of the country's national solidarity.

They expressed deep respect for the sacrifice, made by the slain lawyer Saiful Islam Alif and urged  the government  to take the responsibility for rehabilitating his family.
