Aston University deputy VC calls on DU VC

DHAKA, Feb 6, 2025 (BSS) - Deputy Vice-Chancellor of Aston University, Prof. Osama Khan, called on Dhaka University Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Niaz Ahmed Khan, at the latter's office today.

During the meeting, they discussed matters of mutual interest, particularly the possibilities of undertaking joint academic and research collaborations in business, science and technology, and pharmacy between Dhaka University and Aston University, UK.

They also explored opportunities for faculty, student, and researcher exchanges between the two universities to foster academic collaboration and knowledge sharing.

Additionally, they discussed organizing training programs for young faculty members and conducting online classes for DU students under the joint auspices of both universities.

Both sides agreed to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in this regard soon.

Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Niaz Ahmed Khan thanked the guest for his visit to Dhaka University and showing keen interest in its academic and research activities.
