Met office predicts light rain over parts of northern region

DHAKA, Feb 27, 2025 (BSS) - Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) today forecasted that weather may remain mainly dry for the next 24 hours but rain is likely at one or two places under Rangpur division beginning in the morning.

"Weather may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country, having chances of rain/thundershowers at one or two places over Rangpur division", according to the prediction begins from 9am.

Seasonal low lies over the South Bay.

Light fog may occur at places over the river basins of the country from late night to early morning.

Night and day temperature may rise slightly over the country.

Country's maximum temperature on Wednesday was recorded 33.0 degrees Celsius at Cox's Bazar and minimum temperature today was 13.2 degrees Celsius at Srimangal.

The sun sets today at 06:01 pm and rises tomorrow at 06:22 am.
