Abdullah Al Noman to be buried tomorrow

DHAKA, Feb 27, 2025 (BSS) - Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) vice-chairman, former minister and valiant freedom fighter Abdullah Al Noman will be buried tomorrow at his family graveyard at Gahira village under Raozan in Chattogram.

Sayeed Al Noman, son of Abdullah and Noman, said his father would be buried at their family graveyard after a namaz-e-janaza on Gahira High School ground.

Earlier, his body was sent to Chattogram through a helicopter today. The body was kept at Kazir Dewri VIP tower so that people can place last tribute to him.

The body will be taken to Chattogram Veterinary and Animal Science University campus at 8am tomorrow. After that, the body will be taken to East Delta University campus at 9am. 

Later, the body of Noman will be taken to BNP Chattogram city office for placing last tribute to him.

The namaz-e-janaza of Noman will be held at Jamiatul Falah National Mosque after Jummah prayers. After janaza, the body will be taken to his native village Gahira.

Abdullah Al Noman passed away on February 25 at the age of 79.
