ACC Director General (Prevention) Md Akhter Hossain disclosed this at a press briefing at the commission's Segunbagicha headquarters office today.

Md Abdur Rahman, being a public representative, has acquired assets and kept those in his possession worth about Taka  1 crore, 72 lakh, 76 thousand 472,  inconsistent with the known sources of income through criminal misconduct and abuse of power, he claimed.

During the briefing, it was also informed that Md Abdur Rahman has made suspicious transactions of Tk 3,892. 32 crore in 19 bank accounts abusing state-power and  money laundering and concealed the sources of money, what the ACC found, through ‘corruption and bribery’.
