The release said BSCL has started all the activities related to change the names by following the rules of the satellite industry for the international arena.

“From now on, all activities of the satellite will be conducted under the new name,” mentioned the release.

It also said Posts and Telecommunications Division informed the BSCL that Chief Adviser has given approval to the change of the name of the satellite.
