Dhaka ranked 7th among the most polluted cities

DHAKA, March 04, 2025 (BSS) – Dhaka, Bangladesh's capital, is ranked 7th on the list of 
the world's most polluted cities in terms of air pollution today.

According to IQAir, an air quality monitoring organization, Dhaka's air quality today is 
unhealthy. 

As of 08:04am this morning, Dhaka had an IQAir score of 159, ranking it 7th on the list of 
the world's most polluted cities.

Baghdad, Iraq, holds the first position in the air quality ranking with an index of 294. The 
top five cities with the most polluted air are: Delhi, India (171), Kampala, Uganda (165), 
Kathmandu, Nepal (161), and Krakow, Poland (160).
