DHAKA, March 5, 2025 (BSS) – The newly sworn adviser 
Professor Dr Chowhdury Rafiqul Abrar got education ministry, 
while Professor Wahiduddin Mahmud will be in charge of only the 
planning ministry.

According to a gazette notification issued by the cabinet 
Division here today, the Chief Adviser of the Interim 
Government has distributed portfolios among the two advisers.

Professor Dr Chowhdury Rafiqul Abrar was sworn in as an 
adviser, taking the charges of the Ministry of 
Education.

Previously, Professor Wahiduddin Mahmud was in charge of 
both the education and planning ministries, but from now on, he will 
solely focus on the planning ministry.
