1,530 cases filed against vehicles for traffic rules violation

DHAKA, March 5, 2025 (BSS) - The traffic division of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has filed a total of 1,530 cases against motor vehicles for violating traffic rules in the capital. 

According to a press release issued here today by the DMP media and Public Relations Division, the DMP Traffic Division has filed those cases on March 4 through regular drive against traffic rules breakers.

The DMP release said that 147 motor vehicles were dumped and 34 vehicles were wrecked during the campaign against traffic rules violation.

It further said these drives against traffic rule breakers will continue to ensure discipline on Dhaka's streets.
