DHAKA, Mar 06, 2025 (BSS) – A five-day 'Multipurpose Jute Product Fair-2025' kicked off here today marking the National Jute Day.
The jute fair, organized by the Department of Jute at Jute Diversification Promotion Centre (JDPC) at Monipuri Para in the city, will continue till March 10, said a press release of the Jute Ministry.
Adviser to the Ministry of Textiles and Jute Sk Bashir Uddin today attended the inaugural function as the chief guest.
After the inauguration, he visited diffident stalls of the fair.
A 15-day handloom-textile fair will also begin on JDPC premises from March 11 to March 25, ministry sources said.
