Ansar force sees reshuffle with transfer of 12 directors

DHAKA, Mar 06, 2025 (BSS) – The Home Ministry’s public security division today transferred 12 directors of Ansar and Village Defence Party as part of a reshuffle in the para-police force.

According to a public security division gazette notification the directors were transferred from one station another nearby stations in most cases. 

Under the notification: Md Kamruzzaman, director, 28 Ansar Battalion, Lalmanirhat was transferred to 34 Battalion Lalmanirhat, AHM Mehedy Hasan, director, 34 Battalion, Guimary, Khagrachari to 28 Battalion, Guimary, Khagrachari, Ashraf Hossain Siddique, director of 14 Battalion, Dingedah, Chuadanga to 14 Battalion, at Chhotmerong, Dighinala, Khagrachari, Md Sazzada Mahmud, director of 9 Battalion at Chhotmerong, Dighinala, Khagrachari to 9 Battalion at Dingedah, Chuadanga, Mohammad Saifuzzaman, director of 4 battalion at Ruma, Bandarban to 4 Battalion at Jorarganj, Mirsarai, Chattogram, Shuvra Chowdhury, director of 16 Battalion at Jorarganj, Mirsarai, Chattogram to 16 Battalion at Ruma, Bandarban, Dewan Matlubur Rahman, director of 27 battalion at Sualok, Bandarban to 27 battalion at Bangladesh Ansar and VDP Academy, Safipur, Gazipur, Md Moinul Islam, director of 10 Battalion at Bangladesh Ansar and VDP Academy, Safipur, Gazipur to 10 battalion at Sualok, Bandarban, Nazmul Haq Nurnabi, director of 2 battalion, Baroichari, Kaptai, Rangamati to 23 battalion at Baroichari, Kaptai, Rangamati, Farzana Akter Dalia, director of 23 battalion at Bedgram, Gopalganj to 2 battalion at Bedgram, Gopalganj, Md Jane Alam Sufian, director of 5 battalion at Suhilpur, Brahmanbaria to 15 battalion at Suhilpur, Brahmanbaria and Md Ammar Hossain director of 15 Battalion at Cumillatila, Khagrachari to 5 Battalion at Cumillatila, Khagrachari.
 
The notification said the transferred order published in the public interest will be effective immediately.
