Joint forces arrest 427 in last 7 days

DHAKA, Mar 6, 2025 (BSS) – Joint force led by the army arrested 427 persons in last seven days from different parts of the country on various charges.

An ISPR press release said the arrested persons include listed terrorists, extortionists, robbers, kidnappers, juvenile gang members and drug peddlers.

They were arrested in different drives from February 27 to March 5, the release said.
The joint force also recovered various types of weapons, narcotics, passports, NIDs, mobile phones, SIM cards and cash money from the arrested persons.

During the drive the law enforcement agencies also seized adulterated food items and sealed illegal fruit making factories.

The detainees were handed over to the concerned police stations and legal action is underway against them, the ISPR added.
