Foreign adviser meets his Pakistani counterpart in Jeddha

DHAKA, Mar 9, 2025 (BSS) – Foreign Adviser Md Touhid Hossain and Pakistani Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar have held meeting in Jeddha. 

The meeting took place in a cordial environment, reflecting the fraternal sentiments from both sides, said a press release of Pakistan High Commission in Dhaka today.

The two leaders held the meeting on the sideline of the Extraordinary Meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Oragnization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) on Friday. 

During the meeting, both the dignitaries expressed satisfaction over the upward trajectory of bilateral relations and agreed to enhance bilateral cooperation in all areas of mutual interest, said the release. 

They highlighted the historical, religious and cultural linkages between the two countries and further agreed to enhance cooperation, particularly in the areas of trade, people to people contacts and cultural exchanges, it added.
