DHAKA, March 9, 2025 (BSS) - The Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) has arrested four members of a robbery gang from the Mohammadpur area in the city.

The arrestees have been identified as Md. Billu Mia, 35, and his three accomplices-Abu Jaher, 30, Al Amin alias Patha Al Amin, 20, and Md. Alomgir, 32.

Acting on a tip-off, a RAB team conducted a raid in the Mohammadpur area and apprehended the four alleged robbers.

Law enforcers also recovered firearms and local weapons from their possession.

According to RAB sources, the arrestees used to pose as RAB members to rob people in areas under the Mohammadpur police station.
