2,67,736 litigants benefitted from ADR of Legal Aid

DHAKA, Mar 10, 2025 (BSS)- A total of 2,67,736 people were benefited from Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) of the National Legal Aid services.

Legal aid service was received by the people from 2009 to January 2025, Legal Aid sources said.  

A total of 1,52,722 cases in 64 district were forwarded by Legal Aid offices while 3,300 cases were brought by Dhaka-Chattogram Labour Legal Assistance Cell for ADR. 

Out of those cases 1,41,003 cases were settled through ADR, benefiting a total  2,67,736 litigants.

The ADR service is provided at government expense aiming to provide legal assistance to the financially insolvent people.
