South Korea vows 'full-scale national response' to fires: acting president

SEOUL, March 26, 2025 (BSS/AFP) - South Korea has launched a "full-scale national response" to deadly wildfires burning in the southeast, the acting president said Wednesday, after 18 people were killed and more injured.

"This is a full-scale national response," acting president Han Duck-soo said, adding that the government has raised the national wildfire crisis to its highest level.
