DHAKA, April 7, 2025 (BSS) – Social Welfare and Women and Children Affairs Adviser Sharmeen S Murshid has called upon all concerned to work together to achieve the desired target of the development works.
 
“We have to work collectively to achieve the target of the development works,” she said while exchanging Eid greetings with the officials and employees of the ministries at social welfare ministry’s conference room here today.

The adviser prayed for salvation of the departed souls of the children killed in barbaric attacks in Gaza and in Bangladesh during the mass uprising in 2024.
 
About the brutality of the attack in Gaza, Sharmeen said, “The genocide committed by Israel in Gaza has crossed all the limits of brutality which is complete violation of the human rights.

Speaking on the occasion Social Welfare Ministry Secretary Dr. Md. Mohiuddin said his ministry distributed grant money among poor prior to the Eid-ul-Fitr to make their Eid celebration joyous.
