DHAKA, April 8, 2025 (BSS) - The government has changed names of two police stations in Tangail and Sirajganj districts. 

A notification in this regard was issued today from the Home Ministry's Police-2 wing. The notification will come into effect immediately. 

Previously, the names of the police stations were Bangabandhu Setu Purba Thana in Tangail and Bangabandhu Setu Pashchim Thana in Sirajganj district. 

They have now been renamed Jamuna Setu Purba Thana and Jamuna Setu Pashchim Thana, respectively.
