Letter of Intent inked for promoting trade, investment

DHAKA, April 9, 2025 (BSS) - Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA), the Ministry of Commerce, International Labour Organisation (ILO) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) today signed a Letter of Intent (LoI) for promoting trade and investment for sustainable and inclusive growth. 

BIDA Executive Chairman Chowdhury Ashik Mahmud Bin Harun, Commerce Secretary Mahbubur Rahman, Country Director of ILO Bangladesh Tuomo Poutiainen and UNDP Resident Representative Stefan Liller inked the LoI on behalf of their respective sides, said a press release issued by the Chief Adviser’s Press Wing.
