DHAKA, April 10, 2025 (BSS) - The Ministry of Public Administration has issued a warning regarding the circulation of fake government notifications with forged signatures related to appointments and postings.

"Recently, a group of fraudsters has been attempting to deceive people by replicating official appointment letters in the name of public administration ministry, forging signatures of ministry officials and using fake reference numbers," said a ministry notification today.

The ministry said all official orders related to recruitment, posting or transfer are published only on the ministry's official website and through the Government Employee Management System (GEMS).

The notice also urged individuals and institutions to verify any such documents through the ministry's official website if there is any doubt regarding authenticity.

Besides, the ministry called upon all concerned to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities.
