Earthquake felt in Dhaka, other areas

DHAKA, April 11, 2025 (BSS) - An earthquake was felt in different parts of the country, including the capital, Dhaka, today (Friday).

The earthquake occurred around 4:52pm, said meteorologist Golam Mostafa of the Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD).

He said the magnitude of the earthquake was 4 on the Richter scale.

The epicenter was around Brahmanbaria district, approximately 105 kilometers from Dhaka, he added.
