BNP's meeting with CA begins

DHAKA, April 16, 2025 (BSS) - Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) starts a meeting with Chief Adviser Dr. Muhammad Yunus on various issues including the upcoming national elections this afternoon.

The meeting began at 12:20 pm today at the State Guest House Jamuna here as the BNP delegation reached the meeting venue at 12:00 noon.

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir leads the party delegation that includes its Standing Committee Members Salahuddin Ahmed, Jamiruddin Sirkar, Mirza Abbas, Iqbal Hasan Mahmud Tuku and Nazrul Islam Khan.

Earlier, BNP Standing Committee Member Salahuddin Ahmed told BSS, "This time, the meeting with the chief adviser is a little different. We are basically going to talk directly about the elections."

However, BNP is scheduled to hold a meeting with the National Consensus Commission at 3 pm tomorrow.
