Saudi keen to further strengthen ties with Bangladesh

DHAKA, July 14, 2025 (BSS) - Saudi Arabia has showed keen interest in working closely to further strengthen the warm bilateral relations with Bangladesh.

The urge was showed when newly appointed Saudi Ambassador to Bangladesh Dr. Abdullah Zafer H. Bin Abiyah paid a courtesy call on Foreign Adviser Md Touhid Hossain at the foreign ministry this afternoon, a ministry's press release said here today. 

The Adviser warmly welcomed the Ambassador and expressed their full support for his endeavours.

Hossain expressed satisfaction over the excellent existing bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries.  
 
The new Saudi envoy also paid a separate courtesy call on foreign Secretary Asad Alam Siam, said the release.
