DHAKA, July 15, 2025 (BSS) - As part of the commemorative events marking the anniversary of the historic July mass uprising-2024, a cultural event and drone show will be held at Chattogram tomorrow.

The Ministry of Cultural Affairs under the management of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy will organise the event dubbed as "July Reawakening" at Chattogram MA Aziz stadium from tomorrow 5pm. 

At the event, film screening, commemoration of the martyred families and July fighters, July songs and drone show will be held to revive the memory of the mass uprising.

The event will be open to all.

Cultural Affairs Adviser Mostofa Sarwar Farooki is expected to attend the event while Secretary of the Ministry of Culture Affairs Md Mofidur Rahman and officials concerned of other ministries will be present. 

The cultural event titled "Kotha Ka" will start at 5 pm. The 'Drone Show' will start at 9 pm as a special attraction. 

The Bangladesh government and the Chinese government will jointly present the story of July by flying 1,000 drones in the 'Drone Show'.
