Five advisers visit Burn Institute to see Milestone School & College plane crash victims

DHAKA, July 21, 2025 (BSS) - Five advisers to the interim government today visited the National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery in the capital to see the injured in the plane crash at Milestone School and College in Uttara.

The advisers offered special munajat seeking eternal peace of the departed souls of the deceased and directed the doctors and nurses to ensure proper treatment to the injured in the incident.

The five advisers -- Adviser for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Dr Asif Nazrul, Adviser for Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Muhammad Fouzul Kabir Khan, Adviser for Public Works Adilur Rahman, Adviser for Religious Affairs Dr. AFM Khalid Hossain, and Adviser for Disaster Management and Relief Faruk E Azam –- rushed to the National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery to enquire about the condition of the victims and injured of the aircraft crash of Bangladesh Air Force.

They also assured of providing all kinds of cooperation on behalf of the Chief Adviser.

Religious Affairs Adviser Dr. AFM Khalid Hossain expressed deep shock and sorrow to the family members of the deceased.

Khalid said, “The entire nation is stunned with grief over the casualties at Milestone School. On behalf of the Advisory Council, we are also engulfed in grief with the entire nation.”

He also prayed for the forgiveness of the departed souls of the plane crash and sought strength from the Almighty Allah for the bereaved families to bear this grief.
