Metro train to carry injured persons of aircraft crash

DHAKA, July 21, 2025 (BSS)- The government has asked MRT authorities for carrying the injured of  aircraft crash in Uttara for their quick transportation from the place of incident to the National Burn Institute.

One coach of each metro train has been kept reserved for transportation of the injured persons, according to the officials.

Metro train has been engaged for fast, safe, air-conditioned and time saving transportation of the injured persons and their attendances free of cost, they said.

A Bangladesh Air Force (BAF) aircraft crashed on a building of Milestone School and College in the capital’s Uttara around 1.18 pm. today, killing at least 19 students and injured 60 others.

The aircraft crashed soon after takeoff at 1:06pm, according to the ISPR.
