DHAKA, July 22, 2025 (BSS) - Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives and Youth and Sports Adviser Asif Mahmud Shojib Bhuyain today said propaganda is being carried out claiming that various quarters are hiding information about the casualties in Monday's tragic training aircraft crash at Uttara in the capital.

In a statement posted on his verified Facebook page, the adviser said, "We would like to firmly state that the claim is not at all true."

"The government, the army administration, school authorities, and hospital authorities are jointly working to publish a complete and accurate list of the deceased and injured in this tragic incident," he said.

All kinds of support are being provided by the government for the victims of the accident at Milestone School and College.

The identities of all deceased are being verified and listed. Bodies that could not be identified are being matched through DNA testing, the statement added.

He said the highest measures have been taken to ensure proper treatment of the injured at several hospitals in the city.

"We urge everyone to contact the school authority immediately if someone they know is still missing," the release said.

A control room has already been set up at the school. In addition, the school's registry books and other documents are being checked to determine whether any student remains missing.
