DMP files 3192 cases for traffic rule violations in Dhaka

DHAKA, July 31, 2025 (BSS) – Dhaka Metropolitan Police's (DMP) Traffic Division has filed a total of 3192 cases in a single day across the capital for violating traffic rules.

According to Dhaka Metropolitan Police Media and Public Relations Division sources, the DMP Traffic Division has filed those cases and realized fines during July 30 through regular drive against traffic rules breakers.

The DMP sources said that 267 motor vehicles were dumped and 84 vehicles were towed during the campaign against traffic rules violation.

The DMP release further said these drives against traffic rule breakers will continue to ensure discipline on Dhaka's streets.

The DMP traffic division has been working to establish a smooth traffic system to ensure hassle-free movement for the city dwellers.
