e-Family Court will be helpful for women, children: Rizwana

DHAKA, Nov 24, 2025 (BSS) - Environment, Forests and Climate Change Adviser Syeda Rizwana Hasan today said the e-Family Court is an effective initiative of the current government to modernize and update the judicial system. 

“The e-Family Court will be very helpful for the people seeking justice, judges and lawyers, as it will reduce the time, money and travel hassle. The e-Family Court will be most helpful for women and children,” she said while addressing at the inauguration ceremony of the e-Family Court at the Jagannath-Sohel Auditorium of the Metropolitan Sessions Judge's Court in the capital.

Rizwana, also Water Resources Adviser, said that the e-Family Court will help make the justice system more effective through transparency and accountability. 

She said that digitalization has many benefits. The e-family court will provide one-stop service to trial candidates, she added. 

She urged the lawyers to make the e-family court effective for ensuring hassle-free smooth legal service.  

Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs and Expatriate Welfare Advisor Dr Asif Nazrul and Chief Adviser’s special Assistant for the Ministry of Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology Faiz Ahmad Taiyeb, among others, addressed the event. 

Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Secretary Liaquat Ali Mollah gave welcome speech.
