DHAKA, Nov 27, 2025 (BSS) - A two-day meeting of the Central Coordination Council of the 63 cantonment public and English-medium schools and colleges run by the Bangladesh Army was held on Wednesday and Thursday at the Army Multipurpose Complex in Dhaka Cantonment. 

Lieutenant General Mizanur Rahman Shameem, President of the Central Coordination Council of Army-run Cantonment public and English-medium schools and colleges and Chief of General Staff of the Bangladesh Army, attended the meeting as the chief guest, said an ISPR release today.

In his speech, the chief guest called for making the contribution of army-run educational institutions to the expansion of education more dynamic and accelerated.

Policy matters and other overall issues related to Bangladesh Army-run educational institutions were discussed and important decisions were taken during the meeting.

The chief coordinator of the meeting and director of the education directorate, the director general of the Department of Military Lands and Cantonments, principals of all army-run educational institutions, and other military officers participated in the coordination meeting.
