Bangladesh to observe International Anti-Corruption Day 2025 tomorrow

DHAKA, Dec 8, 2025 (BSS) - Bangladesh will join the global community in observing the International Anti-Corruption Day 2025 on December 9, in accordance with the United Nations Convention Against Corruption (UNCAC).

The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has undertaken comprehensive initiatives to mark the day, with programmes planned across districts and upazilas nationwide, said a press release. 

As part of the observance, a discussion meeting will be held tomorrow at the National Theatre Auditorium of the Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy.

Financial Adviser Dr. Salehuddin Ahmed is expected to attend the event as the chief guest, while Director General of Bangladesh Institute of Development Studies, Professor Dr. A. K. Enamul Haque will participate as the special guest.

The International Anti-Corruption Day -2025 will be observed across the globe on December 9 with the slogan "Uniting with Youth Against Corruption: Shaping Tomorrow's Integrity.
