NU plans to hold Hon's 3rd-year exams on Dec 30

DHAKA, Dec 23, 2025 (BSS) - Postponing the examinations scheduled for 
December 30, the National University (NU) has published a revised schedule 
for the 2024 Honours third-year examinations under the university.

The postponed examinations will now be held on January 29 of 2026, according 
to a letter signed by NU Exam Controller Md Enamul Karim.

The exams have been postponed due to unavoidable circumstances, the letter 
reads.

As per the new schedule, the examinations will begin at 1 pm on January 29 
and the duration of the exam will be mentioned on the question paper.

The subjects whose examinations will be held on the revised date include 
Bangla, English, Arabic, Sanskrit, History, Islamic History and Culture, 
Philosophy, Islamic Studies, Library and Information Science, Political 
Science, Sociology, Social Work, Economics, Anthropology, Marketing, Finance 
and Banking, Accounting, Management, Physics, Chemistry, Biochemistry and 
Molecular Biology, Botany, Zoology, Geography and Environment, Soil Science, 
Psychology, Home Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Environmental Science 
and Music.

The letter further said that all other examination dates and schedules will 
remain unchanged as per the timetables announced on November 26.
