DHAKA, Dec 28, 2025 (BSS) – Movement of all passenger-carrying launches will remain closed in Chandpur and the country’s southern region tonight due to dense fog.

Besides, all launches that are en route to specific destinations and other vessels have been instructed to operate as per the Inland Shipping Ordinance-1976, said a special notification  of Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Authority (BIWTA).
