DHAKA, June 7, 2026 (BSS) - A delegation of the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA), a government development associate organization of Turkiye, today paid a courtesy call with Dhaka University (DU) Treasurer Prof M Zahangir Alam Chowdhury at the latter's office on the campus.

TIKA Vice President Dr. Ali Ercan led the delegation while its Bangladesh Coordinator Muhammed Ali Armangan was present, among others.

During the meeting, discussions focused on various issues related to expanding cooperation between DU and TIKA in the sectors of development, education and research. 

Both sides exchanged views on the possibilities of collaboration in joint research activities, capacity development, infrastructural support and various areas of mutual interest.
