DHAKA, Aug 16, 2026 (BSS) - An initiative has been taken to preserve the rich history and heritage of St. Gregory High School & College through the establishment of the Gregorian Museum under the slogan "Preserve and Conserve."
The Gregorian Society (TGS) and St. Gregory High School & College recently signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to establish the museum on the school premises, said a press release.
Mr Rizwan Khair, Vice President of TGS and a member of the 1974 batch, and Brother Placid Peter Rebeiro, CSC, Principal of St. Gregory High School & College, signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations.
The initiative is the outcome of years of dedicated efforts by former Gregorians in Bangladesh and abroad to preserve the legacy of the century-old educational institution.
The Gregorian Museum is expected to serve as an important repository of the institution's history and heritage while showcasing its legacy and the achievements of its students to future generations.
The museum is scheduled to be formally inaugurated on November 13, 2026.
