RAJSHAHI, Aug 19, 2026 (BSS)- A day-long workshop titled ‘IEEE AP-S PULSE 1.0’ was held today at Rajshahi University (RU).
 
The workshop was organized by the Department of Information and Communication Engineering (ICE) of the university, in a joint initiative of the IEEE AP-S-MTT-S Bangladesh Joint Chapter of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and the IEEE AP-S Rajshahi University Student Branch.
 
The day-long workshop was inaugurated at 9 am today in the Engineering Faculty Gallery by special guest Pro-Vice-Chancellor Professor Mamunur Rashid.
 
Another special guest present at the event was IEEE Fellow and Distinguished Professor of the University of Technology Sydney, Karu Esselle. 
The convener of the workshop, Dr. Foyez Ahmed, along with the Director of the ICT Center, Professor Md. Hasnat Kabir, also spoke at the event.
 
After the inaugural ceremony, Professor Karu Esselle and Professor Atif Shamim delivered special lectures in the academic session.
