CUMILLA, Aug 24, 2026 (BSS)- As many as 91,494 students have applied for re-scrutiny of their Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examination results under the Cumilla Education Board this year, accounting for 62.67 percent of the total examinees.
A total of 145,835 students appeared for the SSC examination under the board this year.
Applications for result re-scrutiny were accepted from August 11 to 17, while the revised results are expected to be published by September 10, according to board authorities.
Professor Ahsan Parvez, chairman of the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Cumilla, said the number of applications was "surprisingly high" this year.
He said additional manpower had been deployed to complete the scrutiny process quickly and publish the revised results within the stipulated time.
According to the published SSC results, the pass rate under the Cumilla Board stood at 65.42 percent this year, while 9,814 students secured GPA-5.
